Who We Are
What is The Red Brick Wall?
The Red Brick Wall (RBW) is an independent association for R-MWC alumnae and friends. We’re a place to catch up with friends and to honor the memory of our alma mater. We’re a place to have meaningful individual relationships that will collectively impact the world. We’re a home for you.
Where did you get the name The Red Brick Wall?
We chose this name because it is a symbol recognized by the entire R-MWC community: life behind and beyond the red brick wall. It represents our time living behind the red brick wall as members of the R-MWC community and the lessons we learned at R-MWC that helped enrich our lives beyond the red brick wall.
What is the purpose of the organization?
As reflected in our bylaws, the purpose of RBW “shall be to promote the educational and/or charitable interests of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College alumnae, to preserve the unique history and traditions of our College, to cultivate the spirit of our College, to maintain alumnae connections and to advance the purpose of the organization while maintaining an atmosphere of the utmost trust, honor and respect for our fellow alumnae as reflected in our College’s Honor Code.”
Are you connected to any other organizations?
No. We are a completely independent association created specifically for the alumnae and friends of Randolph-Macon Woman's College.
